The life expectancy has risen in the U.S. and you will see medical society articles bragging about it.
What they are not telling you is that the average life expectancy is improving much faster all over the world and is now higher than in the U.S.
Therefore our rank is falling, so that we barely beat out Albania 55, (U.S. Is 50th) and even barely ahead of Cuba, that spend under $400 a year on medical care.
Canada is rising, now at 8th and U.S. is falling faster and faster, now at 50th.
Expect 60th at this falling rate in five years.
This might indicate that many nations using conventional wisdom and not being sold a bill of goods (merchandising myths like high cholesterol) etc are faring better and not paying over $7,000 a year per person average for medical care that is in many situations causing more damage than the ailment.
More evidence that you can fool (sell) the populace on most anything but not fool the numbers.
