There are two things that give a diabetic feed back on how they are doing in learning to control thier blood sugar.

Your blood sugar finger stick test and your blood pressure. They are what you use for feed back to learn how to reteach your body to live with the changes.

What we have not acknowledged is that much of your sugar level is not controlled by your current diet and digestion process.

Normally your body maintains a very tight control of sugar levels in a narrow range in a non diabetic body.

The frustrating part for a person trying to do blood sugar tests with a spot of blood from their finger with their meter is that they get readings from time to time that make no sense.

What Is Happening Here?

Once blood sugar is out of control and flooding the blood stream, from there on the rules sort of go out the window with the involuntary auto pilot system doing different things at differen times running levels that are unexplained.

Here you are learning to try to control your blood sugar level with diet and a little exercise, and your actions control it, some times and some times it does nothing.

Lets discuss what seems to happen. We know that when you digest high glycemic foods, (name for sugary foods that digest fast to blood sugar, referred to as blood glucose,) that your sugar level rises rapidly. Within two hours all effects from that meal seem to be gone and you have what is known as your fasting glucose reading. A reading with no food being digested and putting any sugar in to the blood stream.

Sometimes, such as early morning you have high blood sugar readings, if you take the readings immediately on arising and you have eaten nothing.

This is apparently natures way to gear you up from what it percieves may be morning dangers or needs to get going swiftly to survive. If stocks your blood supply from the liver storage system.

Other times it happens during the day for no apprent reason.

Here are a list of possible reasons why your auto pilot sugar control, pulls sugar from the liver and muscles and into the blood stream, often to a high level, raising your blood sugar level without eating or digesting a single thing.

Stimulants will raise your blood sugar level. These include coffee, nicotine, amphetamines, and many drugs, such as anti phsyscotic prescriptions. Nicacin.

Less excercise then usual. Gears up for it by the clock and you fail to burn it.

Strenous excercise, will take sometime to come back down to normal.

If you are sick with a severe or prolonged illnes.

If you have silent inflamation some where in your body, *your immune system is silently fighting off" what it considers an inavader or threat to your survival. You may be very well not aware of it at all.

You may have an overall body infection will raise your blood sugar.

Most likely and most often will be a precieved stress with the fight or flight reflex activated. The high blood sugar and high blood pressure, high pulse and breathing rate all increased with the getting ready to fight or to run aways from percieved conflict. "called fight or flight."

Example would be a conflict with your mother in law. You not being aware that your body was reacting at all.

This one we have not fully explored but have been made aware of by our research on Asthma.

You may wish to read our http://asthmacure101.com which is primarily information on Dr. Buteykos discovery of the cause and fix for Asthma, forty years ago. Been used in Australia for the last 20 years and is now paid for by health insurance there.

This is all based on a breathing mistake which in his 50 years of research Buteyko found was a big part of asthma and the cure for asthma he developed was worked out with retraining exercise to correct your breathing auto pilots mistake.

This part about diabetes is all written in Russian and we are researching this as fast as possable.

The recent six Asthma studies over the last few years, in Australia, New Zealand, Ireland the Uk and the latest one in Canada all reveal his findings are correct and those that retrain their auto pilot system and correct the breathing mistake no longer have asthma.

We are just now getting into his diabetes research. (he died several years ago.) He did develop a training to correct sleep apnea which is a breathing mistake as well and your author has it. Many Australiians have learned to correct their sleep apnea and no longer use a "c-pap machine as your author still does.

Some reports say as many as half of diabetics have some form of sleep apnea so if that is true then very likely a breathing mistake is part of controlling your blood sugar.

Here is what happens with asthma in a nutshell. Somehow an asthma victim has picked up a habit of over ventilating, and often breaths enough for as much as six people in normal every day activity.

They over exhale carbon dioxide which leaves their hemoglobin unable to carry adequate oxygen to the bodies cells.

Short of oxygen, cells starved for oxygen, they further overbreath leading to an Asthma attack, which is the body trying to save itself by shutting down the over breathing.

Something along this line is happening with diabetes according to his writings. which we can not yet adquately report on..

Here, you have to communicate to your auto pilot that your life is no longer in danger from drowning in blood sugar.

To do that you must totally maintain low sugar digestion, regular eating (every two hours or so,) no big sugar droughts and no rushes. That you not have any stress situations and not eat past eight in the evening.

Within 21 days, your automatic program system will settle down and soon they will say you have your blood sugar under control. We have learned some other methods to retrain your panicked auto pilot that was trying to save you from drowning in blood sugar and all the usual methods had now failed. We will bring that faster method too you as soon as possable.

You might use autosuggetions to your self that you are learning to control you blood sugar and your blood sugar control gets better and better every day in every way. If your subconcious picks this up from repetition it is likely to pick up the idea. This sounds crazy but more on this type of thing later on short cuts on your retraining your sugar control autopilot by calm example.

The diet, lifestyle and excercise are the other half of course you have been hearing about for some time.

The autopilot control of the sugar rises part will correct it self over time if you maintain a very stable input and excercise, sleep, meals, all very regular stable little or no change or panic situations.

No going back to old abuses or diets.

No cheating....you are trying to get your automatic control system to realize it need no longer take no extrodrinary actions to save you from the dangers of high blood sugar. ( We call it danger of drowning in high blood sugar) (cells such as heart muscle starved for blood sugar.)

If you have sudden high sugar dangers all over again (even once) your autopilot system will be back to panic survival mode again. You will have to start all over with a new perfect 21 days to change a habit.

Your auto pilot sugar control and survival system needs to be assured that your danger to your survival from loss of sugar control is over.

So when someone says...go ahead, one big slice of birthday cake with ice cream isn't going to kill you.

They are absolutely right, it wont kill you but it sets back your getting your sugar control autopilot retrained by 21 days.

.......and you have to start all over.

Purpose Of This Diabetes Self Help Site and Disclaimer

The attached Diabetes articles are by 42 year researcher, editor, publisher, Harlan Jacobsen (now 80) and his conclusions and recommendations after five years research and personally testing. (living it). An all out effort to uncover how to regain the 15 years life expectancy he was told he had lost after being diagnosed with diabetes, an accepted figure by Doctors using standard medical society treatments. This Web site is his sharing what he has uncovered that works for him and is the current state of information of "what works" and studies on the subject. All published in the only Diabetes newspaper in the world, Diabetes Cure 101 which also has two web versions,http://Diabetes Cure 101.com and http://Diabetesnewspaper.com

Definition of the word "cure" in regard to diabetes is: Return to health, getting off all medications and totally arresting all further advancement of diabetic complications.

Note: The cure for emphysema or lung cancer is NOT to regain the ability to go back to repeat the cause, smoking a pack a day with impunity. Neither, is the ability to go back, regain the ability to repeat the cause, sugar binges etc with impunity, part of the definition of a "cure" for Diabetes.
