When spring showed up your ancestors were likely skin and bone having had a tough time making it thru the winter. They had to have not only enough fat to supplement bad weather days when no food was available but to use with their other eaten nutrients (fat essential to process vitamins, nutrients etc)The winter or famine in force meant that they were now down to nuts and fat storing animals that were now at the end of their body fat. New plants in the spring saved them by supplying carbs (sugar) so the body had no fat left and was getting high sugar in so it automatically and naturally switched to liver storage of sugar and operating entirely for this season on sugar. This brought you high insulin to dispose of every extra unburnt sugar you could find as stored fat and caused a ravenous hunger for anything sweet. Now, that's were your at....... Do you begin to understand it is perfectly natural for you to put on fat when you are on a high sugar diet and it is perfectly normal for your body to prevent any burning of fat when there is high insulin. That is perfectly normal, when in high sugar season operating mode for your body to crave sweetness in large quantities. It is a natural part of your survival system, nothing wrong with you, you are simply responding like your body tells you too.
You are responsible however....... It is you that is allowing and causing high insulin to continue long term and accumulate damage to organs not designed for long term flooding with insulin. If is YOU that can easily reverse it. Simple, give your body the signal.
