Now, new studies clarify that saturated animal fats were never a villain, that this is pitch they have made for years is not true at all and never has been.
We have long pushed for full fat animal meat products (such as lard) and
(saturated fats from dairy products, such as butter and full fat yogurt and raw milk. Coconut oils, and monounsaturated fats in olive oil, avocados and nuts)... and eat lots of protein in addition to red meat, from (eggs, fish, shellfish and poultry.
Many people have heard for so long to avoid animal fats. Where as we have all along with many others dared to recommend eating saturated fats. This probably is the single greatest nutritional and health myth of the last 70 years has been that saturated fat is unhealthful. Your ancestors, all 35 billion lived on and essentially ran on (powered by) almost nothing else for two million years.
Since it takes over 50,000 years for man to adjust fully to a new food, doubtful the western diet which started in late 1800's has not had time to be built into your genes and your survival systems "keep you alive" programing.
Eating foods rich in saturated fat boosts the production of anti-aging hormones, including estrogen, progesterone and testosterone.
We wont go into it here but we have been writing on all diabetics issues, long ago realizing it is important to switch to fat burning (which you were designed for) and go off the life risk sugar power you have been on for years.
The switching to full time sugar to power your body was a mistake
almost no one made until around 1900. The increase in this change goes right along with the increase in heart attacks, strokes, cancer, Alzheimer , Arthritis and diabetes. Look at graphs of the two...run almost parallel.
Before 1900 Diabetes was so rare most doctors had never seen a case and did not know how to recognize it.
Most indigenous society's to this day, that are on their traditional natural diet of high animal fat, have never heard of cancer,
or heart attacks until they are introduced to the western diet, and low fat, or substitutes for animal fat phobias.
Approximately 20 years after the introduction of western diet, their society starts dying of heart attacks, cancer, strokes, and developing diabetes, arthritis, and all the western degenerative diseases etc that were a most totally unknown previously.
