ASU Study Results In Way To Make Vinegar Work For You

Previous Article On ASU Study Showed 20% Reduction Of BG With Apple Cider Vinegar

A new Popsicle made from pickle juice, called the "Pickle Sickle," is touting health benefits, referring to an ASU study reported here previously that shows vinegar combats insulin spikes after a high carbohydrate meal.

Carol Johnston, department of nutrition chair and author of the study, has tested the insulin effect from the product, and "it looks like it's working," she says.

Although more data analysis is necessary, she says, frozen pickle juice may be a good way to get people to eat their vinegar.

An article on this appeared in the Washington Post, March 11 and ASU magazine, Insight.

We have not tested this and have not had any reports on the long term feasibility or popularity of this idea, in actual practice, but you might try it and give us your reaction and experience with making the "sickle pickle" part of your do it for yourself long term diabetes fix.

Note: Apple Cider vinegar in the amount used for success in the studies is a VERY inexpensive fix for help in controlling high blood sugar.
