  • Not even walking to the mail box, send an email -
  • Doggie Door, not even taking the dog out.
  • Not taking your film down to the drug store
  • Think of some MORE

Card Carrying Member of The American Society of Unfit, Fat and Sedentary People

Watching TV: has lower metabolic rate than even reading.

Restrict: Yours and The Kids TV Viewing To 2 Hours a Day

Why - ?
Because That's What It Takes –

Becoming Fit
  • Normal Blood Pressure
  • High Mental Functioning
  • Good Emotional Health
  • Self Motivating
  • Handle life without undue fatigue

Diabetes: Just a bump in the road to health.

Keep Doing What You Have Been Doing

Obese ?

Being Fit And Fat Is An Improvement-

Exercise alone Can Largely Control Diabetes.

Diabetic Tip–

  • Be sure your BG reads over 100 before exercising and take some pemmicon with you.
  • No matter how fat or skinny – 30 Minutes a day of just walking will – improve your BG and Insulin Action –
  • Okay - ease into it.
    • First day go down the block or blocks as far as you can and still get back comfortably –
    • Tomorrow – Go a little further –
    • Next day Push it –
    • Next day further still
    • End of the week, your past the original turn around with ease –

  • Your BG and insulin figure improve and......
  • For the first time you notice you are starting to feel better –

Darn - just when you were coming up with excuses as to why you just couldn't do this anymore –

Now look into Strength Training.
 

Also Look into – The Tough One – getting rid of your stomach fat –

Get used to these 2 new ideas –

We assume you have now gotten past your "I can't do this anymore excuses"


Take a break – Go to the dog pound

– Adopt a dog – Big -Little - get one to adopt that likes you. This dog is going to save your life too

You will become buddies – 

This dog depends on you to get life preserving exercise: 
And –This dog will get you off your duff every day. No, you cannot delegate this dog walking job to someone else-

This Is Your Lifeline Dog –


You can spend big bucks for some Big Fancy Diet –

Yes, You will likely lose weight –An Average 15 pounds –

But
You almost always gain it back –
Plus

You and your dog will cause you to regain muscle- and 14 pounds will fall off and stay off –
Get two dogs – No, you won't lose 28 pounds.
But –
You will lose more-
(Forget cats, they are no help here)
Muscle weighs more than Fat –

When you put on muscle you may actually gain weight-

Forget the scale – get a Tape Measure-

You Kid Yourself
You are starting to buy your own Excuses –

You have been listing all the reasons why others can get out there and Do This but you just cannot; You have been grasping for what makes it impossible for you to do what's necessary every day for the rest of your life to get your life back –

Others are not buying it –

But You Are-
You have become a Lazy Sedentary corn snacking, munching oaf. Sure you have aches, pains and your getting old and slowing down –

You're not a lazy oaf because you have these -
You have these because you have become a lazy irresponsible couch potato oaf -
You got them by a easy habit of doing less and less. -

Write down your best excuse – This excuse is the very reason you have to take charge to overcome.

It Will Take 21 days to Change Your Old – Do Nothing "Slow Down Habit". – 

Boy, is this going to be a strain.   Your old life style habit was so easy, you just flowed into it, every day for 21 days this is going to be a real sweat – getting yourself to do something not an Ingrained  -Long Term Lazy Habit
Every day for  21 days you must Force Yourself to do what needs to be done.

Sure you can skip a day –

But –You start the 21 days back over from scratch – Starts all over.

You want to get your New Active Life on Automatic where it's no effort – it's just life, it is something you do everyday –

Do not really have to think about after 21 days - 
It - will just happen—

It is Your New "Life Style" Exercise Habit

Your dog "Loves You" – Even your spouse is developing a new attitude about you.

Exercise is not punishment.
  You do not pay now for having had a bad life style.

Exercise is a new chance and a new way of life.

Tired – Depressed -?


No nap – a walk instead.  You recharge your spent batteries only with exercise - 
You are tired because you have become sedentary.  Exercise is the answer- not sleep.

Something acting up – poor health?

Become Active –


What you don't use – you lose


Depressed ? Get moving –

Speed up your Life 20%, Act enthused (Fake it)

Reality catches up.

Exercise is Not something you do until – you fix something it is a routine – a new life style a rest of your lifetime habit- it is what the new you does-
Add in – Strength Training
Develop muscles where you never had muscles – Hire a trainer (therapist) actually

This is a life or death decision –

You can not go back in – later and do what you need to do now – some of this will no longer recapture.
Expand you exercise program as your body gets in shape.
It is not a drag – (any longer)

It is a challenge -

It will become the highlight of your day.

This is not something you set out to Try.
This is something you set out to do. –

It Is Now A Part Of The Rest (and best) of your new Longer life -
