Major Contributor To Doubling of Obesity and Diabetes In The Last Ten
Years. The "POP" psychology in nutrition in
the last ten years has been that if you reduce FAT in your diet you
will lose weight. In fact they say if any one tells you otherwise they are
crazy since it only makes sense if you cut or reduce fat you cut weight
gain.
This widely "accepted" lie is the major cause of the doubling
of the weight gain obesity and cases of diabetes in the American
population in the last ten years.
If you look at a graph in the
ten year spread of the BIG "lowered fat" lie, as the graph line on
fat consumption goes down on the ten year graph you see the obesity graph
line going up at the same rate as the fat myth went into
affect.
Major weight gains come from ingestion of sugar, and
starches, not from fat. Eating of fat makes you feel full so you eat
less.. Cut out the fat and you continue to eat to satisfy your hunger, and
what do you eat in place of the missing fat? ....more fattening sugar
which goes directly to your body as more pounds.
Example. Let us
just make up a comparison here of a glass of milk as 20 calories from fat
and 20 calories from milk sugar.
Drink one glass of whole milk
with these figures and you would feel satisfied and full. (rich) 40
calories, your happy and quit.
Drink one glass of low fat or skim
milk, seemed like water and did nothing for you. So you decide since it is
low fat and wont make you fat, you have a second glass.
Let us say
the skim milk glass is "reduced" from 20 calories to only 5 calories of
"low" fat and still 20 calories of milk sugar. That equals 25 calories
per glass, you have two for a total of 50 calories, 40 of it that the
extra sugar then goes right to your body as fat.
Here is where the
diabetes harm comes in. With the supposedly "fat laden glass" you had only
20 calories of sugar for your body to handle. With the two glasses in
contrast your body had to deal with 40 calories of sugar, double the whole
milk "fat" glass sugar content.
A leading US diabetes Doctor points
out in his Diabetes book, to fatten livestock the farmer does not feed
them butter, oils and meat. to fatten his livestock he feeds them grain.
Carbohydrates. When you want to gain weight do the same thing.. Dump
in the grain (flour) and sugar based carbohydrates and you will certainly
gain weight just as the farmers livestock do.
This same doctor and
a few courageous others who have written books on the subject have the
nerve to suggest diabetics drink whole milk and whole milk yogurt to lower
their blood sugar and lose weight.
Do the math. Go with what
works.
If makes sense to me....the whole milk fat and the meats
likely never gave you or me diabetes.
Sugar and flour products
did.

How These "Accepted" Myths Get
Started
30 years ago a
medical publication ran figures on iron content and made a typo of two
digits off in the iron content listing for Spinach. They immediately
sent out press releases etc in that they had a serious typo error in the spinach
iron content listing. Never the less media picked it up from
the book and ran it as news that spinach was a great source of iron when
in fact spinach had almost no iron content at all.
Other media picked it up from those articles and it went on for over
20 years.....that spinach was a great source of iron in your diet. In
fact we have even seen some recent articles sourcing spinach as a good
source of iron. Once one of these myths get started, the media blows
it up and carries it on becoming a self perpetuating myth.
The basic low fat lie, comes from a very carefully controlled accepted
study by one individual that was not reported in its entirety and gave
the impression that low fat (which the study person was promoting) (a
book) was the success ingredient in lowering the fat condition of some
severe obesity people.
Unreported by the press was the study carefully pre-selected some highly
motivated obese people, had counseling weeks before the test and study
even started and sorted out people that would stay on for a year with
these severe restrictions and actions the general public would never
tolerate.
The only reported part of the study was they were put on this low fat
diet and after a year had some amazing results.
Unreported was these people were on a two hours a day carefully
orchestrated exercise program, went to group support sessions twice a
week and many programs on their mental state on a regular basis.
All of the extra help they received and time devoted would not have been
tolerated for a year by the general public.
In fact, critics of the study say that with all of the extensive therapy
and exercise, likely the same result would have been obtained with a
normal "fat" level diet.
Yet this study was picked up and started the basis of the low fat fad
which has no solid basis and is a big part of the obese epidemic,
causing the very problem the media reports over and over as the
solution.
Very Likely....Check it yourself... all the fat people you know are
"eating low fat products". All the skinny people you know are eating
full fat products.
The low fat products have additional sugar added to compensate for low
fat, and also add high fructose corn syrup (both go directly to making
body fat) plus artificial sweeteners, all of which do not shut down your
appetite causing you to continue to eat.

You Need Lots Of Fat In Your
Diet
In South America, years ago, they used no fat for prisoners they wanted
to kill. Protein and other diet essentials supplied as usual. In six
months, unwanted prisoners were dead.
The Inuit Indians call it dying of rabbit disease. No fat in the
diet.
A recent study of essential elements absorbed from a vegetable salad
prove interesting. Essentially, the result was with a no fat salad
dressing none of the primary benefits of the salad showed up in your
blood stream. With a low fat dressing, about half the expected veggie
benefits showed in the blood stream and with a full fat dressing 100%
showed up.
The conclusion of the study was to obtain the benefits you needed to
eat a full fat dressing with the salad.
This type of information receives little publicity, since the low
fat marketing has taken over.
For you, ....Eating the correct
balancing saturated fats with Omega 3 fats in proportion (they compete)
to make fats not a problem and remember, avoid anything labeled "low"
fat.

The medical industry by and large tell you, that as a
diabetic, that if you get a calculator, a listing of every food and its
conversion factor, and take many prescription drugs in exactly the right
quantity at exactly the right time and under the right conditions you can
continue to handle flour and sugar products in certain quantities in your
diet.
Never mind that should you calculate the timing wrong or
figure quantity wrong or there are extenuating circumstances that may put
you into drug induced hypoglycemia, which by the way can put you in a coma
and even kill you.
Life style gave you type 2 diabetes. drastic
immediate change of life style can slow it or maybe even correct it.
You decide. Do you challenge it or take what comes? Can you wait
and decide after something devastating happens? Too late....
There
is a whole industry of medical people that rely solely on business for
them generated by the fact the much of the public refuse to give up on the
addictive flour and grain sugar laced products they have grown used to and
that are killing them just as the smoker refuses to quit cigarettes that
he well knows are killing him.
The medical people do not tell you
that no matter how good you do this dietetic balancing act, your diabetes
progresses. You do not and can not stop it, the prescription strengths
have to be increased over time and you only delayed it at best for a
while, not stopped the disease.
The government continues to put out
a food pyramid that shows meat and fat should be eaten sparingly but that
flour (grain) and sugar products should be the basis of the food pyramid
and be eaten in quantity.
Think it is working? Obesity and
diabetes doubled in the last ten years. For every calorie saved by reduced
fat, the public apparently then ate two or three calories more of products
of flour and sugar to appease their appetite,
That extra was then
almost instantly turned into fat on our body. No wonder we became obese
and developed diabetes. We bought into the BIG LIE eat "reduced
or "low fat" food and you you wont gain weight and are home
free".
Your body evolved over100,000 years and was equipped to
and can handle reasonable amounts of fat. It was never designed or
equipped to handle fast acting refined sugar and milled flour products in
any quantities at all (it did not exist) let alone the large quantities you
have been feeding it for years..
Sorry...Your doctor can not save
you...this time.... only you can change your life style. This one depends
on you developing self discipline and dealing with reality. Wake
up...before it is too late...
